This project consisted of the complete demolition and renovation of an existing control room. The scope of work included removal of existing control panels and cabinets, flooring, wall sections and MEP. Installation tasks included new walls, insulation, MEP, resinous flooring, control panels, video wall, restroom and breakroom. The removal and replacement of instrument pressure piping, air lines, tubing, valves, transmitters, and isolation valves throughout the plant was also a key part of the successful project.
The Control Room and Instrumentation work was completed during a shutdown of the facility. This required careful planning and staging of materials and sub-assemblies to ensure that the work could be completed within the scheduled time.
