Scope of Work: This project consisted of General Construction and Mechanical work throughout the plant working around rooms and labs of a sensitive nature. The general construction involved floor plan restructuring, including relocation of walls, doors, and other tenant improvements. The mechanical work consisted of installing various manufacturing equipment, steam and condensate piping, chilled water systems, natural gas piping, along with nitrogen, compressed air and RO water systems. Subcontractors under Rand's contract were electrical, insulation, sheet metal, temperature controls, fire protection and heavy hauling.
