Interior/Exterior Renovations & Additions City Hall Municipal Bldg, Police HQ & Fire StationRichmond, Missouri City of Richmond Rick Childers Richmond, MO 64085 P: (816) 776-5304 F: (816) 776-8216 Completed: September 2008 Scope of Work: The renovation portion of this project consisted of a complete demolition and rebuild project. New City offices for the Community Service, Building Inspection Department, City Collector, Court Clerk, City Clerk, Accounting, Finance, Human Relations, City Administrations, Mayor, etc. were constructed. The Council Chambers were constructed to serve the dual purpose of holding City Council meetings and the City Municipal Courtroom. The Police Headquarters construction included offices, administration areas, locker rooms, training facilities, booking, jail cells, evidence rooms and sally port. The sally port was a building addition to the existing facility. Specialty construction at the Police Headquarters included bullet resistant partitions and glass, jail cell detention equipment, evidence lockers and a radio tower communication system. The Fire Station Project included the demolition of an existing building, renovation of an existing facility, a 7,350 SF building addition for fire engines, and 8,300 SF building addition consisting of offices, training facilities and living quarters. Both facilities included installation of new emergency generators. This project was performed in phases while the City services continued to operate. Back to Public Sector |
