Scope of Work:This project included the removal of existing horizontal filters and installation of 2 vertical filters approximately 6' in diameter, 18' tall, and weighing 18,000 pounds and modifying the associated piping as required. As the Mechanical Prime Contractor, Rand was responsible for an entire turn key project including a foundation for a new building, foundations and supports for all equipment and piping, and entire electrical and controls. All work was performed per requirements of DOT which has jurisdiction of any work done on a pipeline.
