Scope of Work: This project consisted of a new 20,000 sq ft Telco switching center complete with air cooled chillers, air handling units, hydronic pumps, steam humidifiers, purge fans, DDC controls and building commissioning. Rand installed redundant systems for every switch room as emergency backup in the event that the primary cooling systems went down, then the secondary systems would automatically switch over thru the building management systems controls and safety interlocks that were put in place. Rand had completed the entire project from starting on the underground plumbing rough-in work to performing testing/adjusting/balancing work in a period of approximately 9 months and before the required completion date.
