Scope of Work: This project consisted of interior tube repairs and replacement caused by a boiler explosion. Rand Construction had to remove and replace exterior vertical tubes to access the interior of the boiler. The repair work consisted of straightening the back wall, refractory repairs, and replacement of damaged pendants. Additional repairs were performed on the steam and mud drums. After completion of this work, Rand hydrotested the boiler.
