Scope of Work: This project consisted of a new 3-story medical office building at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Several professional specialty offices and doctor's offices will lease space within the new medical office building of which Rand Construction has been hired on a design-build basis for the mechanical and plumbing work for some of these future tenants. The new medical office building core and shell is served by three (3) McQuay packaged rooftop units and a fan powered box/VAV system. Rand also installed men and women gang restrooms on each floor, as well as primary and secondary storm drainage systems along with "wet columns" for future tenants to tie into valved/capped water, waste and vent lines so as not to disturb the operations of the building.
