Menorah Medical CenterMedical Office Building I & IIOverland Park, Kansas United Excel Kevin Rogers 5425 Antioch Drive Merriam, Kansas 66202 P: (913) 647-9400 Anticipated completion: April 2009 Scope of Work: Rand was awarded the contracts to construct not just the first 56,000 sq ft medical office building (MOB) at Menorah Medical Center, but the second 87,000 sq ft building as well. Each building contains its own independent mechanical and plumbing systems separate from the existing hospital's systems. Based on the success Rand had on the 1st MOB by partnering with Trane on the rooftop units and controls, Rand partnered with them again on the second MOB. By doing this, it provided economics of scale and efficiencies for the owner by standardizing major equipment and controls to one vendor rather than multiple vendors This provided better ease of use and thorough understanding of the equipment and controls which ultimately the end user benefits from.
